DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE STRATEGIES

About Delta Insulation Systems  (DIS)

Delta Insulation Systems (DIS) was founded in 2006.  We are an Australian family owned manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS-FR), Thermosetting Phenolic Composite (TPC) & Polyisocyanurate Foam (PIR) along with other specialty foams and foam products.

Our manufacturing facilities are based in Brisbane and service the east coast of Australia.

We have invested in the latest technology with modern profile cutting machinery to produce a wide range of products in packaging, building, construction, insulation and marine applications.

All of our products are tested within in-house laboratory as part of our ISO 9001:2015 management system.

DIS has focused on providing cost effective solutions for our customers and has demonstrated the ability to understand and fulfil their needs. To this end we have developed the Thermosetting Phenolic Composite (TPC) foam which poses superior fire performance qualities. TPC is covered by Australian Patent Application no. 2022903579.

The company operates under a certified ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and is committed to the recycling of all our EPS-FR waste on site.

Products
Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS-FR)

Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS-FR) is the most commonly used of all foam due to its comparatively low cost, versatility and ease of use.  DIS cuts and supplies all standards specified in Australian Standard 1366.3 and several other grades for speciality uses.

Thermosetting Phenolic Composite (TPC)

DIS offers an alternative fire-rated insulation foam in the form of Thermosetting Phenolic Composite (TPC) which is also used in applications requiring higher fire ratings, enhanced temperature controlled applications and controlled environmental projects.  TPC can be a more cost effective solution to PIR, while still offering enhanced R values ranging from 1.7 to 8.0 m2/Kw.

Polyisocyanurate Foam  (PIR)

DIS manufactures Polyisocyanurate Foam (PIR) which is typically used in applications looking for higher fire ratings, enhanced temperature controlled applications and controlled environmental projects.  PIR offers enhanced R values ranging from 2.2 to 8.0 m2/Kw.
